Toby Bost is no longer the CEO of the La Jolla Group, I have confirmed.

The company has named a new CEO, and hired a President for the O’Neill brand.

Current EVP Daniel Neukomm will move into the CEO role, a person at the highest levels of the company confirmed.

Steve Wilson, formerly the Americas GM for the Quiksilver brand who left the company at the end of last year, will become the President of O’Neill.

I asked Toby for a comment about his departure, and he sent this text:

“It has been a long, sweet ride at (La Jolla Group) LJG,” he said. “I appreciate the change in direction that the board of directors is implementing. I wish them a mountain of success. I can’t say enough great things about the amazing family that we built at LJG. I would like to thank them all deeply for supporting me for the seven years I was CEO. It was a very special place to build a career.”

The La Jolla Group is the licensee for the O’Neill, Rusty, Metal Mulisha, and The Berrics, and has an operating agreement with skate company DNA Distribution.
