On Friday October 18th the team at Proof Eyewear opened the doors to their Global Headquarters and Flagship Retail Store in the BODO district of downtown Boise Idaho. Crafted From The Ground Up, Proof Eyewear sprouted from a simple idea to become the Global Leader in Sustainable Eyewear. What began as an independent family start up in a garage has grown into an industry leading brand.
“Proof is proud of the deep roots and strong branches we have grown here in Boise. I started Proof in my garage three years ago with my brothers Tanner and Taylor. When I founded Proof my goal was to build a brand that stood for something, a brand that gave back and did some good in the world. The opening of our new Global Headquarters and Retail Shop is the accumulation of a lot of hard work but it’s just one step in our journey to solidify Proof as the Leaders in Sustainable Eyewear.” Said Brooks Dame the CEO and Founder of Proof.
All the materials used were locally sourced from reclaim projects around Boise. The floor was hand built by the Proof team using discarded pallets and reclaimed wood from a century old house that was being restored. The wall was built using Idaho grown white pine firewood. All instillations were built using wood and hinges from a barn over 100 years old and reclaimed for the displays.
“When we set out to build our office and shop we wanted to stay true to our roots and build something with our hands. Everything here was built from the ground up by our team. It’s something that we are very proud of and are happy to share with our community”. Stated Tanner Dame, GM and Co-Owner of Proof. Brand Manager Lance Williams added “When you walk through our doors we want you to have an authentic experience, just like you would have when you wear any Proof Eyewear products.
In addition to the retail shop the new location will serve as Global Headquarters for Proof Eyewear. The new space houses offices for all Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Warehouse Operations. The new space allows Proof to work with the retailers throughout the entire ordering and fulfillment process to strengthen relationships with dealers and consumers. “We have created a space that Boise, our dealers, team riders and our reps can be proud of.
