Sanuk Global Creative Director Michael Minter exited the company Friday after nine years working for the brand.

Michael was one of the early employees of Sanuk, which was purchased by Deckers Outdoor Corporation in 2011.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished at Sanuk and the unique brand it has become,” Michael said via email. “Having progressed from Art Director to Marketing Director to Global Creative Director, I was able to shape many things, including product design, marketing campaigns, retail experiences and brand strategy. Sanuk provided me an amazing playground. To creatively drive such a special brand through nine years of rapid growth was a privilege I can only hope to repeat.

“I am leaving on great terms and wish the brand nothing but the best. Currently, I’m considering all my options. Needless to say, I’m excited to see what’s next.”
