The Billabong Pipeline Masters started Sunday, and we have a few photos of who we saw in the stands and on the beach, and of some of the people we saw during the week.
Several brands have retailers in town, and are hosting events, barbecues and dinners.
I attended the Vans annual barbecue featuring the cooking of Ron Abdel of Jack’s with help from Moroccan North Shore surfer Abdelkrim Chaibat. The annual feast includes retailers, Vans surfers like John John Florence and Dane Reynolds and industry executives.
Alas, I didn’t take any photos that night, but do have photos from some other industry entertaining that went on in the North Shore.
