JOHN FEARNLEY LEAVES VOLCOM POST TO JOIN ATHLETIC RECON
Costa Mesa, CA (January 6, 2013) – John Fearnley, Senior Vice President of Global Production at Volcom, will be leaving his post of 13 years to join Athletic Recon as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. While at Volcom, John held many operational positions, including sourcing and supply chain operations, as well as, overseeing internal teams within Production and M&D. John played an integral role on the executive team since going public in 2005 through the transition during acquisition by Kering in 2011.

In addition to John joining Athletic Recon, Heuser recently secured financing to fuel the company’s long-term growth strategy, including a free-standing retail store front and a converted shipping container concept shop that is set to debut at the OC Throwdown Crossfit event on Jan 11th and 12th, 2014.
Athletic Recon will be presenting the Fall 2014 Collection at Agenda Show in Long Beach (Jan 7th & 8th, 2014) and Liberty Show in NYC and Las Vegas.
