Press release:
ORLANDO, FL (March 24, 2014) – The Rider Sandals event team has been hard at work spreading the word about the company’s new 2014 spring product lineup, traveling from coast to coast to create and participate in some of the country’s most iconic events.
From South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival, to Spring Break, to Rider’s own Campus Foosball Tour, the company has aggressively targeted students to promote and support its stylish new spring 2014 sandal line.
Spring Break has been a staple to Rider’s outreach every year and this year was no exception. Rider was on the beach at the Summit Resort in Panama City, Fla., the epicenter of Spring Break activities on the panhandle, meeting with students, giving out prizes and having a lot of fun. For the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, Rider partnered with APEX Brasil to help host Casa Brasil, a Brazilian themed party just blocks from the main stage. The party featured everything from Brazilian food, music and “Sole of Brazil” products in every gift bag.
The company is also midway through its National Campus Foosball Tour. Since January, Rider has hosted foosball tournaments at colleges and universities across the Southwest, pitting dorm members against each other to crown individual campus champions.
“College students identify with Rider Sandals and we try to reinforce that by reaching out to them and giving back as much as we can,” said Ricardo Mohr, Director of Marketing at Rider USA. “From the top music festivals around the world to the steps of their university, we want Rider Sandals on the mind and feet of our most avid customers.”
