Los Angeles, Calif – (June 2, 2014) – Street League is Skateboarding’s premier street competition. To keep things fresh we bring you the 2014 SLS Monster Energy Pro Open. Street League history unfolded at this first-ever SLS Monster Energy Pro Open event on May 17th and 18th, as eight newcomer pros battled neck-to-neck with 20 resident Street League Skateboarding pros for a $75k purse at Nike SB’s private, state-of-the-art Sixth and Mill skatepark in downtown Los Angeles.
Skater’s Ishod Wair, Peter Ramondetta, Chris Cole, Curren Caples, Matt Berger, Alec Majerus, P Rod, and more came to Nike SB’s Sixth and Mill to kick the season off properly. Congratulations to Monster Energy’s pros Shane O’Neill for taking the #DIAMONDLIFE Afterparty win, Nyjah Huston on the Pro Open victory and to Berger for earning a spot on SLS.
