SES followed up with PacSun CEO Gary Schoenfeld to find out more about the retailer’s strong men’s performance in the first quarter.
Men’s comparable sales rose 10%, the highest men’s sales comp in the past 10 years.
We asked Gary if he could provide a little more color about what worked.
“Men’s was strong across the board led by emerging brands, sneakers and being first to recognize joggers as a new trend,” he said via email.
PacSun performed better in men’s in the first quarter than many other teen retailers at the mall.
