Press release:
June 16, 2014 — Ventura, California: Pro Lite International a global leader in surf accessories since 1982 proudly announces the addition of Australia’s Mitch Crews to it’s roster of global surf athletes.
After a strong campaign on the WQS in 2013 Crews made his debut on the WCT in 2014 and is currently ranked number 21 in just his first year. Starting the year off strong, Mitch soon stood out as a strong competitor, taking down the heavily favored Julian Wilson at Snapper Rocks, and then taking down Kelly Slater in a first-round matchup in Brazil.
“We look forward to helping Mitch grow into a true contender and have been watching his progress for quite some time. We look forward to cultivating a long and enduring relationship with Mitch and are excited to see what the future holds,” said Mike Hendo, Sales and Marketing Director at Pro Lite.
“It gets me stoked to see people really want to support me and embracing me to be a part of their company,” said Crews. “I think the Pro Lite grips are some of the best I have personally used and I am excited to be on board.”
Mitch joins a roster that already includes WCT stand-out Josh Kerr, Timmy Reyes, Keanu Asing, and Cam Richards.
