Press release:

DC Shoes, Huntington Beach, CA (October 6, 2014) – On a team of heavy hitting skateboarders, Matt Miller becomes DC Shoes’ latest pro to drop a signature shoe.  Miller, a constant presence in Street League contests, joined the DC team six years ago and draws on the brand’s technical features and trademark style in creating a shoe that puts him in the pro model ranks of elite skaters.

“I wanted a shoe that looked good when you looked down,” said Miller.  “I also wanted something supportive and lightweight. It has ventilation windows in it that keep my feet really cool when I’m skating too.  Breathability is super important to me.  Overall, it’s just a really durable shoe that skates really well.”

DC’s Super Suede and no-sew construction met Miller’s durability needs, while an open cell mesh collar and tongue provided unparalleled breathability.  A custom outsole, Ortholite footbed and “Pill Pattern” tread meet high-performance needs for street skating.

Miller’s achievement of a pro model shoe with DC is a benchmark he has worked toward throughout his career. “I’m so hyped,” he exclaimed.  “It’s surreal.  Best feeling ever!”

The Matt Miller S drops in stores and online on October 16.  The shoe will be available in Black, Gray and Bright Blue colorways, retailing for $85.00.  For more information, or to purchase, visit www.dcshoes.com.
