Press release:

Lib Tech and Storm Factory Outerwear are proud to announce the addition of the Swiss Knife himself Fredi Kalbermatten to the team.

With decades of backcountry freestyle dominance under his belt, Fredi, like the trains in Switzerland, is clean, precise, stylish and always on time.  With an undeniable brand of power finesse and classical progression, Fredi cuts like a knife through the Swiss glacial cheese of his Saas Fee home.  This long time producer of rad continues spreading the Kalbermatten message with video parts, pictures in mags and more covers than Bed Bath and Beyond!  We are so stoked to welcome Fredi to the Lib Tech and Mervin Manufacturing family not only on our boards, hand built in the USA, but also to our Storm Factory outerwear program, where his input and design acumen will be fully utilized for a true rider designed experience.  Fredi Kalbermatten and Lib Tech, the world’s best boards are ridden by the world’s best Rippers!

In celebration of adding Swiss Ripper Fredi Kalbermatten to the Lib Tech team Will Film For Food released his brand new footage from their latest greatest “Sol Food”.

Mervin Manufacturing is an innovative board building and creative hub that was established in 1977 by surfer, skater snowboarders Mike Olson and Pete Saari.  Mervin is currently the longest running major snowboard building factory in the USA producing boards for Gnu, Lib Tech and Roxy. Lib tech’s kraftsmen (Bitchin Board Builders) also produce NAS skis, world record setting Exo-skeletech composite skateboards and award winning Waterboard Surfboards.  Based near Canada in Carlsborg, Washington between the rugged Olympic mountain ranges and the Pacific Ocean Mervin is a direct link between riding and manufacturing.
