Press release:

Montreal, Canada (November 10, 2014) –Vans Canada has announced that as of November 7, 2014, Vans sales in British Columbia will no longer be represented by the Dollhouse agency. Vans would like to thank Michael Costigan, Andrea Costigan, Sean Kato and Nate Jones for their many years of hard work, dedication and support. Everyone at Vans wishes the Dollhouse team the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Vans Canada is proud to share that on December 1, 2014, it will open a dedicated sales office in Vancouver to service all sales and regional activation duties for British Columbia. “This is a change from our normal sales business model but will allow the brand to become more focused on delivering excellent customer service, superior connection with our retailers and a dynamic platform to cultivate and nurture our core pillars, action sports, music, art and street culture,” says Jason Good, Vans Canada Sr. Wholesale Sales Manager. “I am in the process of building a sales team that will build stronger retail partnerships and reflect our core values by activating and fueling the local community with the true Van Doren spirit.”

Stefan Goulet will serve as the first critical team member in the new Vancouver sales office. Stefan has a strong sales history in the region and is very familiar with the brand, having served as a Vans sales agent for five years in Alberta.

“In 2007, I left Vancouver for what I had planned to be six months. Well, nearly seven years later, I’m just now finding my way back. I am absolutely humbled to be returning to British Columbia to work with Vans, a brand so dedicated to action sports, music, art and street culture, and a province that offers so much in the way of skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing and biking. I’ve worked in this industry for most of my life — as a sales rep, magazine editor, tour manager, shop owner, and many things in between — so I look forward to working with and meeting the needs of all our partners in the industry. I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to connecting with you all in the future.” -Stefan Goulet.

Vans Canada will release more information on the opening of the Vancouver sales office and on hiring news as it becomes available.
