MARCH 25, 2015 – Brandon Spiegel, an artist and multidisciplinary designer based out of California, brings his graphic style of continuous line drawings to DC Shoes this spring with a collection of shoes, apparel and accessories.
Spiegel’s art is an exploration of graphics, form and semiotics, appealing to those who are ready to think differently and find deeper meaning in his mesmerizing designs. Inspired by this exploration, his work focuses on the progression of visual language, imagination, balance and culture. The deceptively abstract maze of repeated lines draws viewers into the labyrinth with an off-kilter sense of equilibrium.
Like skateboarding, Spiegel’s creative process builds through imagination and challenge. The DC x Brandon Spiegel collaboration capsule features elements of his “SETS” series, as well as exclusive designs.
