Encinitas, CA – New, limited, and now available, welcome the Nixon x Primitive Skateboarding Collaboration.
Launching with three models, The Corporal SS, The Time Teller, and The Kingpin the brushed rosegold and black materializations were brought to life working hand in hand with Nixon team rider Paul Rodriguez on concept and design. Each watch in the collection features a custom engraved caseback and a crown featuring Primitive’s distinctive “P” signature.
Primitive, originally a specialty retailer focused in boutique skate, was co-founded by Nixon team rider Paul Rodriguez. What started as an opportunity to open a retail location transitioned to a new brand, Primitive Skateboarding. Nixon and Primitive saw an opportunity to collaborate together on a collection of watches that share a similar look and feel inspired by Paul’s Primitive rosegold board graphics. With the launch of the skateboard side of the brand and the team wanting to get to work on a limited collaboration, the timing to launch this latest partnership with new and heritage watch models aligned perfectly.
