In the spirit of it being Almost Summer, New Yorkers can now add stopping by House Of Vans Brooklyn to their yearly ritual of dusting off their front stoop and trading in their winter boots for a fresh pair of Vans for a free, all-ages music series taking over House of Vans on three Saturdays this spring. Starting May 9, House of Vans introduces a triple bill featuring Bikini Kill front-woman, Kathleen Hanna alongside her band The Julie Ruin, L.A. garage rockers Bleached and a DJ set by post-punk industrial electronic act Youth Code to kick off Almost Summer. This three-date series will welcome everyone from Richmond, VA legend Pusha T, to the beloved, wry-witted Parquet Courts and more. In proper Vans fashion, food trucks and free PBR will be available.
