Costa Mesa, CA – April 8, 2015 – Over the past 4 months Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam series toured North America to find the best amateur snowboarders. The tour consisted of 11 regional snowboarding events extending 20 competitors (top 5 in each division) the invitation to compete in the 2015 PBRJ Championships. Competitors will ride for their piece of Volcom’s $17,000 cash purse, stacks of prizes, and the title of 2015 PBRJ Champion. During the PBRJ event competitors are judged on the tricks they land, not on their bails, on three separate rail features. The 4 divisions are: 15 & Under, 16 – 21, Girls, and Open/Am that are sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. Free food, free drinks, and giveaways will be provided for competitors and spectators alike.
Come hang out, watch some incredible snowboarding, eat some free food, meet professional athletes/industry heavyweights, and have a great time supporting the future of snowboarding! Spectators are welcome!
