Amuse Society, SurferxBlood and The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel held a poolside social with California’s new breed of taste-makers at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles this past weekend to kick of the summer swimsuit season in style. Brand builders Morgan Pharoh and Douglas Neill of SurferxBlood and Maria Sass head of marketing for Amuse Society brought together Los Angeles’s very best to enjoy a day under the sun and to kick off everyone’s favorite season, bikini season. Tony Adams, founder of Chit Chat records, pro skater/model Erik Hamamoto, surfer/model Brook Power was brought in to fill the warm air with rock, soul and smooth grooves setting the stage for legendary songwriter, artist and former Calvin Klein model, and rock legend Jennifer Herrema to DJ with some of her band mates, The Black Bananas. Athletes, musicians, photographers, artists, bloggers and models from California’s top agencies got a chance to meet the visionaries behind Amuse Society, Mandy Fry and Summer Rapp. Guest were able to stroll into the Pop-Up Suite to shop from the current collection and as well learn more about this emerging brand and its identity. Patrons mingled, munched bites, received gift bags from Amuse Society and sun bathed with complementary skincare products provided by Sun Bum. VIP guests including Duff and Susan Mckagan, Photographers Jason Lee Parry & Andrew Kuykendall, model Helen Owen, Candice Neill, Marianna Hewitt and bloggers Amy Pham, Vivianne Lapointe, Jennyluvs of E!, Jill of Little Back Boots, and Thania Peck and many more danced, swam and enjoyed the fun in celebration of the coming Summer and Swim Season.
