SUPERbrand is proud to announce a backpack, tee shirt, boardshort, and limited production surfboard collaboration with renowned accessory brand Focused Space. As the surfing lifestyle and traveling go hand in hand, the collaboration was a great fit for both brands.
“We’re so happy with this collaboration. As SUPERbrand continues its strategic growth in apparel and possibly other categories, we look to collaborate with other brands that share the same philosophy of high quality and design driven aesthetics we have. The brands already had an internal friendship, so it was a very natural progression for the collab to happen. I think the market will be very happy with the results,” says SUPERbrand CEO Marcelo Bengoechea.
“We’re very excited to partner up with SUPERbrand. There are several synergies between the brands that clearly validate the project,” says Focused Space founder Bryan Grismer. “We have similar approaches that focus on creating innovative products with unique material stories to elevate performance. There’s a nice balance of function and fashion that we like to refer to as ‘the fine product of efficiency,’” adds Grismer. “My brothers and I had a couple surf shops earlier in our career and have always had a passion for surfing—I can’t think of better brand to do this with and can’t wait to get the board and boardshorts out in the water!”
The SUPERbrand X Focused Space collaboration tees, boardshorts, and backpacks will be available with the Spring/Summer 2016 apparel line. The line will be shown at both Agenda Long Beach and Surf Expo trade shows, and carried in surf shops, boutiques, and online in early 2016.
