686 held an art show and party called Unseen in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday to celebrate its own in-house artists and photographers. The packed house of attendees enjoyed the evening soirée with food, drinks, and a live DJ spinning tunes, all hosted by the snowboard apparel brand that’s commemorating its 30th anniversary this year.

“We held the show to celebrate the people who are the driving force of our existence,” said Mike West, 686 owner/founder. “It all comes down to purpose, passion, and people. This is truly why I love what I do. I think of this as a glimpse into what 30 years forward looks like. We’re just getting started. This is day one of the next 30 years.”

The show featured several walls of artwork from 686’s staff, displaying groups of paintings, drawings, and photographs from the likes of Team Rider and Outerwear Designer Forest Bailey, Art Director George Covalla, Staff Photographer and Graphic Designer Erik Hoffman, Senior Digital Designer Paige Smith (aka A Common Name), and E-commerce Manager Mason Tobia.

“They’re the ones working behind the scenes on our art and photos every single day – they are the Unseen,” said Brent Sandor, 686’s vice president of marketing.
