Bass Pro Shops is opening three retail stores across the country.

The Springfield, Mo.-based company announced new locations in Spring, Texas; Clifton Park, New York; and Niles, Ohio – all custom designed to reflect their respective regions.

All three will offer equipment and clothing for backpacking, wildlife viewing, camping and other outdoor-related gear.

The Spring “superstore” will be 125,000 square feet “for all of the great fishing, hunting and outdoor activities that east Texas has to offer,” Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops, said in a news release.

Spring is located in the northern Houston metropolitan area. This is the company’s 16th Texas location and its fourth in the Houston area.

The Clifton Park store will be 70,000 square feet and “serve outdoorsmen and women in greater Albany and the Adirondacks region of New York,” according to a release.

Clifton Park is on the southern end of the Adirondacks region. This is the company’s fourth location in New York.

The Niles store will be 63,000 square feet and “will make it easy for people and families to enjoy time together in the woods and on the water,” Morris said in a release.

Niles is in the greater Youngstown area, and offers access to the nature of northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

This is the company’s seventh Ohio location.

Great American Outdoors Group is the parent company of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s. It operates 177 stores, with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s combined, and employs roughly 40,000 people.
