The executive changes are continuing at RVCA.

The brand has a new Global GM, Brad Blankinship, who replaced Kevin Meehan in September.

We have learned there are some changes coming in the vice president ranks as well. Both VP of Sales Eric Thomas and VP of Marketing Brian Cassaro will be exiting the company after a transition period.

Both Eric and Brian have deep roots in the industry. Eric has worked at RVCA for 15 years. Brian has worked at RVCA for five years, and before that worked at DC Shoes.

Replacements for their positions have not been announced.

There is also a new person joining the RVCA team at the brand’s global headquarters in Costa Mesa. Scotty Payne, the RVCA Brand Manager in APAC, is moving to Orange County and will now head up global merchandising and design. Scotty has worked for RVCA for five years, and previously worked for Billabong and Volcom in Australia.

Another key new executive who joined RVCA this fall is Cathey Curtis, who moved into the newly created position of GM for RVCA Women. Cathey previously headed up global marketing for Billabong Women.
