A big crowd turned out for the #ROXYFITNESS event in Hossegor Sunday during the Roxy Pro France.
More than 1,600 women signed up for a run, SUP Race, and master yoga class on the beach around Hossegor Lake.
At the Roxy Fitness store in Hossegor on Saturday, participants lined up throughout the day to pick up their race numbers and welcome packs.
Roxy has been holding #ROXYFITNESS events around the world in 2016, and the events are the main marketing push for the brand this year.
We also saw a huge turnout for the Quiksilver Pro France over the weekend, with families packing the beach to watch the action.
The audience was super attentive and clapped loudly when they liked the performance. In addition to French families, tons of spectators made the drive from Spain.
Given the recent terrorist attacks in France, the military patrolled the streets around the event, and backpacks and bags of those entering the contest were checked.
