Billabong Women's makes key sales hire

Well-regarded, seasoned sales executive Deanna Jackson finds a new home.

Editor’s note: Billabong continues to build an impressive team of top industry executives that have deep relationships and experience in the industry. Deanna was a Quiksilver veteran for 18 years, including working as SVP of Roxy sales.

Most recently, she was SVP of Apparel Sales for the Quiksilver, Roxy and DC brands, working with key national accounts. She left the company in March.

BILLABONG MAKES KEY SALES APPOINTMENT

  • Experienced industry executive Deanna Jackson joins Billabong
  • Will focus on continuing growth of Billabong Womens in North America

Irvine, California. September 14, 2015 – Accomplished industry executive Deanna Jackson has been appointed to the role of VP Women’s Sales, North America for brand Billabong.

Deanna brings over two decades of sales experience and account knowledge to the newly created role.

“Deanna is a highly accomplished and respected sales executive with experience in all categories of women’s apparel, swim and footwear,” said Shannan North, Global President of brand Billabong.

“Deanna has extensive experience and strong account relationships in the North American market having been a leading industry sales executive for over a decade. She will be responsible for leading the Women’s Sales team and driving our category and sales strategy.”

“Brand Billabong saw double digit growth in our key US wholesale channel in the last financial year. A healthy portion of that growth was driven by Billabong Womens and we feel there is huge opportunity to build on those gains,” said Shannan. “Across Billabong Mens and Womens we’re also looking to implement a more unified approach in the way we go to market across North America.”

To support the move to a more integrated North American business, Jason Shelton’s role of VP Sales has expanded from US sales to North America total brand sales.
