Sun Diego celebrated the opening of the Sun Diego Beach at Petco Park Monday with an industry party on the San Diego Padres’ Opening Day.
The Beach is a two-story deck space behind right-center field with Sun Diego branding, surfboards, sand, casual seating spaces and a bar stocked with a wide selection of beers on tap.
Sun Diego also has a kiosk right outside the Beach with Quiksilver, Roxy and Sun Diego apparel, Sanuk sandals, Stance socks, hats, sunscreens and more.
The retailer also has a large branded section in the main Padres store, which prominently features goods from partners Quiksilver, Roxy and Sanuk, and some other brands as well.
Lots of people attended the festive party Monday, and we have photos in our slide show.
It wasn’t such a great day for the Padres, however. The Dodgers beat them 15-0.
