Vans hosted its annual BBQ on the North Shore Tuesday night to celebrate the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.
The event grows every year, as word of the plentiful Middle Eastern feast prepared by Ron Abdel of Jack’s and several helpers grows.
More than 200 or so people attended last night, including a large Vans contingent, industry retailers, the WSL leadership team, athletes and executives from other brands, including Stance, Oakley and Xcel.
The menu consisted of Ahi steaks marinated in Middle Eastern spices, sashimi, fresh hummus and pita bread, shrimp, paella, steak, salads and more.
