Former Vans President Kevin Bailey has a new job as President of VF Corp.’s Asia Pacific Region, VF announced today.
Currently, Kevin is President of VF Action Sports and Outdoor/Action Sports Canada, Mexico, Central/South America. He is responsible for the Vans, Eagle Creek and Reef brands.
In his new role, Kevin will be based in VF’s Hong Kong office and will serve on VF’s operating committee. He will move to Hong Kong at the end of January.
Scott Baxter, Group President, Outdoor & Action Sports Americas, will pick up Kevin’s current duties.
The changes come as Karl Heinz Salzburger, VF’s Group President of International, is set to retire at the end of 2017.
Aidan O’Meara, the current President of Asia Pacific, will become Group President, International. Since O’Meara took on that role in 2007, VF’s revenue in the region grew tenfold to $1.2 billion and workforce increased from 300 to 4,000 employees.
VF has also created a new position, President of the EMEA region, which will be filled by Martino Scabbia Guerrini. Guerrini is currently President of Sportswear and Jeanswear for EMEA.
