Dickies is continuing to build out its marketing team and announced internally today that it has hired a new Global Creative Director.

Matt Lambert has a wide range of experience including at Nike, where he spent eight years in various marketing roles, including a two-year stint in Shanghai. He also spent time at the creative agency Limitless Creative Co., and most recently worked with Backcountry, where he led their creative efforts. It was there that he met Sarah Crockett, who left Backcountry to become Global Chief Marketing Officer at Dickies.

In Matt’s hiring announcement, Sarah highlighted his global experience and his unique perspective on global branding. She also noted his skill in creating immersive consumer experiences, creating influencer and brand ambassador programs, and spearheading brand marketing campaigns.

Matt starts full time with Dickies on July 11.

Dickies has many interesting changes happening as the brand looks to expand the lifestyle business while keeping its strong authenticity in workwear. SES recently had a great interview with Global Brand President Denny Bruce about all that, which we will post soon.
