FUEL TV, the global home of action sports on television, is launching four new vertical streaming channels based on some of the most iconic media brands in surf, skate, snow, and bike, it was announced today by Fernando Figueiredo, CEO of FUEL TV Global.

For over 20 years, FUEL TV has been the global home of action sports on television—delivering award-winning programming, groundbreaking series, and live event coverage that inspires, entertains, and connects audiences around the world. As a pioneer in broadcasting the culture and lifestyle of action sports, the FUEL TV Group of channels continues to evolve with the launch of four new dedicated vertical channels: SURFERTV, POWDERTV, SKATEboardingTV, and BIKEMAGTV.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Fernando and his team at FUEL TV to bring our iconic action sports brands to television audiences around the world,” said Paul Edmondson, CEO at The Arena Group, which owns the original magazine titles the iconic brands. “These publications were built on authentic storytelling, and this partnership allows us to reimagine that legacy for a new generation of fans.”

These new channels are directly inspired by the legendary print magazines that defined the voice of action sports media—SURFER, POWDER, Transworld SKATEboarding, and BIKEMAG. Each title helped build a global culture around its sport, shaping how athletes, fans and the wider world viewed surfing, snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, mountain biking and BMX.

With a combined social reach of over 20 million people, these names remain deeply relevant and revered by passionate communities worldwide. FUEL TV is bringing these powerful brands into the digital TV age— broadcasting their spirit through 24/7 streaming channels that celebrate the past, present, and future of each sport, powered powered by FUEL TV Group’s extensive content library of more than 4,000 hours, spanning from 1996 to today

SURFERTV immerses viewers in ocean adventures and surf culture;
POWDERTV delivers the excitement of the snow-covered backcountry and freestyle progression; SKATEboardingTV showcases raw street talent and the evolution of skate culture; and
BIKEMAGTV covers the full spectrum of MTB and BMX innovation and style.

“These new verticals give each sport the dedicated space it deserves,” said Figueiredo. “We’re building channels, using such established and powerful brands, that speak directly to the global surf, skate, snow, and bike communities—honouring the roots of each culture while creating a home for their future.”

While these new channels focus on dedicated surf, snow, skate and bike content, live event coverage will remain a cornerstone of the main FUEL TV channel, which continues to bring audiences the biggest global competitions, festivals and cultural moments in action sports.

This strategic partnership between FUEL TV and The Arena Group, the owner of these iconic media properties, provides a significant digital expansion of these legendary brands. This new chapter continues FUEL TV Group’s mission to honor the culture, creativity, and community that drives action sports, while evolving how it is shared with the world.
