Hurley Licensee Chooses Not to Furlough in April

United Legwear, the new Hurley licensee for men’s apparel, underwear, legwear and flip-flops, has opted not to furlough employees for now because of the coronavirus crisis.

United Legwear, the new Hurley licensee for men’s apparel, underwear, legwear and flip-flops, has opted not to furlough employees in April because of the coronavirus crisis.

The company will reduce pay for certain employees during the month of April while the rest will continue to receive their full pay. The situation will be reassessed for the month of May.

United Legwear employees 67 employees on the Hurley campus.

“I think of United Legwear & Apparel Company as a family and that includes the United Hurley Team in Costa Mesa,” United CEO Isaac Ash said in a statement. “Family members protect each other, especially in difficult times. We are all links in a chain and you need every link for the journey to go smoothly. This is how I view my company. I cherish each United Hurley member in this way and we will continue on this path.”
