Matt Bolte, Marissa Pardini, and Ben Stubbington Join Arc’teryx

Bolte is Arc'teryx's chief merchandising officer, and former Vans exec Pardini and former Lululemon director Stubbington join Veilance.

North Vancouver, Canada-based Arc’teryx has bolstered its leadership team with industry veteran Matt Bolte, who is now chief merchandising officer, as well as Marissa Pardini and Ben Stubbington, who have joined its Veilance team.

Bolte has 35 years of retail leadership experience, which he’s applied to his most recent role as a partner at advisory and innovation lab ThenWhat, Inc., with a focus on brand consulting and innovative apparel brands, accrording to a news release. He was previously at Nike for 17 years, where he led product and merchandising for men’s performance and sportswear, over multiple geographies.

At Arc’teryx, Bolte will oversee the strategic direction of merchandising, planning, programming and business development across all product categories.

“Matt’s deep expertise in executing complex, global merchandising strategies and extensive industry experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our leadership position in both our technical outdoor and premium apparel businesses,” said Stuart Haselden, CEO of Arc’teryx, in a statement. “Over the past year, the merchandising team has undergone a transformative journey. With Matt’s deep understanding of merchandising and his passion for the Arc’teryx brand, he is an excellent fit for this role.”

Pardini joins Veilance, Arc’teryx’s urban-oriented performance brand, as its new general manager, where she’ll oversee global strategy.

Pardini was previously the chief product and merchandising officer at Vans, overseeing global apparel and footwear merchandising, and helped the brand reach more than $1 billion in DTC sales. Pardini also held roles at The North Face as the Americas VP/GM and as a buyer at Bloomingdale’s.

Veilance’s new creative director, Ben Stubbington, has led design teams for 20 years, most recently as the senior vice president of design at Lululemon. The brand’s menswear business grew by more than five times under his leadership. He’s also held roles at Theory as creative director of men’s products.

At Veilance, Stubbington will shape its product and brand identity.
