Outdoor Retailer Confirms Speakers, Including Google’s Joe Bush and Salomon’s Jenni Staudacher

Speakers, which also include Cotopaxi CEO Lindsay Shumlas, will unpack the biggest issues in the outdoor industry, such as AI's impact on retail and challenges and opportunities in the outdoor economy.

Outdoor Retailer has announced its full list of speakers for its June show and for Industry Day, which include Cotopaxi CEO Lindsay Shumlas, Google Global Head of Business Development Joe Bush, and Salomon’s Vice President of Supply Chain Jenni Staudacher.

“As the outdoor industry continues to morph, our speakers, a selection of the brightest minds in the community, will impart their views on the knowledge and tools needed to thrive,” said Sean Smith, show director at Outdoor Retailer. “From AI advancements to consumer purchasing behavior, our speakers will share valuable insights that attendees can utilize to drive their business forward.”

Industry Day speakers will take the stage on June 17, one day before the show opens, to talk about AI and how it’s affecting the retail environment, how consumer appetites and behaviors are shifting, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead. Those speakers include:

  • Lindsay Shumlas, the new CEO of Cotopaxi
  • Jenni Staudacher, vice president of supply chain at Salomon
  • Joleen Ong, senior director of brand and retailer membership at Cascale
