Youth-oriented retailer Pacsun will add to its U.S. store count for the first time in nearly two decades, with plans to add 20 to 35 brick-and-mortar locations over the next three years. Pacsun has opened nine new stores in 2025 so far, with more openings planned through the end of the year, and already has signed nine leases for 2026.

The move follows Pacsun’s announcement earlier this month that it would make its international debut with a store in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates early in 2026, the first of 20 stores slated to open in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries over the next five years. Pacsun is operating in these Middle Eastern countries in partnership with mall operator Majid Al Futtaim.

“Our stores have become cultural touch points for a generation that values experience as much as product,” said Brieane Olson, CEO of Pacsun in a statement. “What begins on our social channels — inspiration and community — ultimately drives young people to see it in person. Doubling down on brick-and-mortar simply reflects what our community is already telling us.”

Recent Pacsun openings include the brand’s second NYC store, in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, and a store in the NYC suburb of Westchester, both of which debuted this fall. An early 2026 opening is planned for a Pacsun store at Orlando, Fla.’s Mall at Millenia. The retailer currently operates approximately 300 U.S. stores.
