Woolrich CEO Stefano Saccone has been appointed President of Peak Performance. Effective April 2025, he’ll join the Amer Sports global leadership team, taking over for current President Sara Molnar.
Saccone will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and will report to Arc’teryx CEO Stuart Haselden, according to a news release.
Before joining Woolrich, Saccone held executive roles at VF Corp., Nike, and Ralph Lauren, and has both global brand leadership and omni-channel expertise.
“Peak Performance is well positioned to embark on a growth journey, and Amer Sports is determined to drive the brand’s long-term profitable growth and dynamic culture,” Amer Sports CEO James Zheng said in a statement.
Known for its outdoor apparel and ski wear, Peak Performance expanded into the U.S. in September 2024.
“Stefano’s experience will be invaluable as we accelerate Peak Performance for long-term success in both its home markets and internationally,” Zheng said. “With Stefano’s leadership and experience, I am confident that Peak Performance can reach the next level.”
Current Peak Performance President Sara Molnar will continue to lead the brand and manage the transition until March 31. She has decided to depart the brand to pursue new opportunities after nine years, according to the release.
“Under Sara’s leadership, Peak Performance has transformed from a B2B-led to a direct-to-consumer-led business model, re-established its premium positioning, refined its brand expression, enabled the initial steps in the global expansion, and launched the brand in new markets outside of Europe,” Zheng said. “We extend our best wishes for Sara’s future success.”
