Industry brands and excited snow customers turned out Saturday for Surfside Sports’ annual Snow Carnival.
Surfside is one of the few remaining major snow players in Orange County and has become a destination for snowboarders.
The demise of Sport Chalet has also meant skiers now buy outerwear and accessories at Surfside, even though the store does not actually sell skis.
We have photos from the day and of the industry folks we saw at the event in our slide show.

Dave Downing of Burton was hustling the whole day. Here he was helping with a boot fitting.
