We were unfortunately unable to make our annual pilgrimage to Keystone, Colo. last week for the Zumiez 100K party.
However, Zumiez shared some great photos and details about the event with us.
Nearly 1,200 store employees from North America attended the party.
The Mall of America store produced the top seller for the second year in a grow. This year, Hailey Wilson landed in the No. 1 position after selling $804,520 worth of goods in 2018.
Her prizes included a custom Fiat with a slide-out barbecue from Vans, a one-of-a-kind print from artist Shepard Fairey, a trip to Hawaii with RVCA and much more.
Micah Barre, who finished in the No. 2 spot for the third year in a row, won an original 1963 Ford Galaxie from Cons, presented by Louie Lopez. Micah is from the store in Alderwood, Wash., which is very close to the Zumiez home office.
Other employees who were top sellers also received big prizes including an ATV from DGK and a Ruckus scooter from 40’s and Shorties. Brands also provided some great trips for the top performers – Tokyo from Rip N Dip, the NBA All-Star Weekend from Nike SB, and Osaka from Primitive.
The after-party featured a brand carnival, a skate ramp by DC, and performances by Turnstile presented by Dickies, Ghostemane presented by Lurking Class and Playboi Carti presented by Adidas.
The theme for the year was Life Hacks, and Zumiez employees could hack their way to secret prizing and a variety of brand-hosted activities and presentations throughout the day, including a snowboard demo, screen printing, a gaming lounge, yoga, Q&A panels, and a discussion on philanthropy from Zumiez founder Tom Campion and his wife, Sonya.
