The longtime headquarters of Simms Fishing Products in Bozeman, Mont., is now a collaborative home for Simms and other Revelyst brands Bushnell, Blackhawk, and Stone Glacier.
The Bozeman Innovation Center will also provide sales, marketing, finance, and R&D support for the Camp Chef and Primos brands as well as Revelyst’s Project Freedom initiative, which provides gear to military, law enforcement, and first responders, according to a news release.
“Revelyst and our market-leading maker brands are thrilled to unveil the Bozeman Innovation Center to the communities of Bozeman and the greater Gallatin Valley,” said Eric Nyman, CEO of Revelyst, in a statement. “This facility embodies our vision for collaborative innovation and will serve as a key hub for outdoor gear development. With dedicated labs for fishing, optics, tactical design and more, it’s a model for how we build products that help people live their best lives outdoors.”
The Center has new signage with Revelyst’s logo and all of the brands that are headquartered there. It will continue to be where waders by Simms are designed, developed, tested, and built. Tactile gear brand Blackhawk and technical hunting and packs company Stone Glacier are longtime Galatin Valley-based brands.
Throughout 2024, executives at Revelyst’s former parent company Vista Outdoor were under pressure from shareholders to maximize value from its plan to separate its ammunition business, The Kinetic Group, from its outdoor performance group of brands, now called Revelyst. After a lengthy strategic review, shareholders voted in favor of selling The Kinetic Group to Czechoslovak Group and Revelyst to Strategic Value Partners, which took the company private.

Revelyst will continue making improvements to the Innovation Center.
Revelyst announced in April that it had signed on with licensing agency Evolution to unlock new partnerships for six adventure sports and outdoor performance brands: Fox Racing, Simms Fishing Products, Camp Chef, Primos, Hoppes, and Blackburn.
