Outdoor industry leaders will share the strategies they’re using to navigate tough challenges at Industry Day, held one day before the Outdoor Retailer show kicks off next week in Salt Lake City.
Topics include managing supply chains, deploying cutting edge technologies, leveling up retail customer service, and more.
Featuring leaders from Google, Cotopaxi, Salomon, Orvis, and others, the sessions are designed to create a forum to have candid conversations about the future of the industry.
“Our goal is to foster collaboration, spark new ideas, and equip attendees with the insights to navigate an increasingly complex outdoor marketplace,” said Show Director Sean Smith.
In addition to technology and trade policy, speakers will also share the latest insights in experiential retail and the creator economy. And don’t miss the final session of the day, called Under Pressure: Understanding the Continuing Forces Redefining Outdoor Business. Moderated by athlete and entrepreneur Suzanne (Sunny) Stroeer, leaders at Salomon, Orvis, and Cascale will discuss how they’re responding to economic uncertainty and issues such as tariffs, supply chain disruptions, sustainability, and potential boycotts of American brands.
