When it comes to top brand leaders at VF Corp., executives who have come from leadership positions at Vans are leading the pack.

VF announced a new management structure Tuesday, and three of the four brand leaders that report directly to VF CEO Steve Rendle have deep experience at Vans.

Doug Palladini, who is the current Global Brand President of Vans, came from the marketing side of the brand.

Kevin Bailey, the current President of the Asia Pacific region, is also responsible for emerging brands in the VF portfolio. He came through the retail ranks at Vans.

Steve Murray, the new Global Brand President of The North Face, is the former President of Vans who led the company after the VF acquisition. He also came through marketing.

Doug, Kevin and Steve all worked closely at Vans for many years. Kevin replaced Steve as Vans President when Steve got promoted up the VF ranks. And Doug replaced Kevin when Kevin rose.

The only person on the VF brand leadership team reporting to Rendle that is not from the Vans ecosystem is Martino Scabbia Guerrini, who oversees the EMEA Region for VF and is interim Global Brand President for Timberland.

VF is on the hunt for a new leader for Timberland. Who knows, maybe the new Timberland Global Brand President will also come from Vans? They are obviously building strong leaders there.
