VF Corp. made a few more changes to its executive ranks as it continues to refine its leadership teams at Vans and Dickies.
The company moved former Timberland EMEA Vice President of Marketplace Werner Bossenmaier to the Dickies brand, where he is now EMEA vice president and general manager.
Bossenmaier, who took on the new role at the start of this month, will head up strategy for the market and reports to Global Brand President Todd Dalhausser.
Bossenmaier succeeds former Dickies EMEA GM Andreas Olsson, who took on a vice president of sales position at Vans EMEA last month. The appointment marks a return to the brand for Olsson, who had previously held various sales positions in the EMEA region at Vans before moving to positions at VF Corp. and then Dickies.
Olsson is a VF veteran having begun his time with the company in 2009 at The North Face. VF credited Olsson for “elevating” the Dickies brand while serving as EMEA GM.
“At VF, we believe in investing in our talent, and these appointments are a testament to our commitment to talent growth and development,” said Martino Scabbia Guerrini, VF executive vice president and president of EMEA, APAC, and emerging brands. “Their wealth of experience and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the success of our business, as we continue to aim for growth and expansion.”
Dickies, which is one of VF’s top four brands, generated revenue of $177 million in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, the most recent quarterly data available. That’s down 13%, excluding the impact of exchange rates.
EMEA proved the bright spot for Dickies in the quarter as the only market where the brand saw revenue growth, which spiked 44%, or 63% in constant currency.
The latest appointments follow other executive changes in the past few months within VF’s Vans and Dickies brands. At Dickies that’s included:
- Dabney Lee joining Dickies from Vans to be chief product & merchandising officer.
- Ryan Case joining Dickies from Hey Dude to serve as global vice president of work product.
- Matt Ting received a promotion to global vice president of work inspired product.
- Todd Dalhausser was named Dickies’ global brand president, joining the division from VF’s running and hiking shoe brand Altra.
And at Vans, recent changes include the departures of Vice President and Americas General Manager David Tichiaz, Global Chief Marketing Officer Kristin Harrer, and Americas Vice President of Finance Michael LeFebvre.
VF is expected to report results for its fiscal fourth quarter on May 23.
