Adidas Skateboarding and Alltimers Partner Up Again

The two brands reveal ‘Just Like Old Times’ collection.
Published: October 14, 2018 Press Release

adidas Skateboarding and Alltimers reconnect to launch their third collaboration. In the spirit of their irreverently unique concepts, the latest collection is underlined by the theme of ‘Just Like Old Times.’ The release emphasizes premium custom cuts with unlikely textures and subtle Alltimers branding.

When discussing the collection, Alltimers explain as the only saying goes, “Martinis are like stripes– two isn’t enough, and four is too many. So for our third collaboration with adidas, we’ve stripped the shoe down to its essentials and spruced it up with some very decent materials and built a collection around it. It’s a more refined, grown up look because we kept getting turned away from nice restaurants with the hockey jerseys and sweatpants on.”

As  their third collaborative installment, the labels unveil the Alltimers Gazelle Super. Inspired by the heritage Gazelle introduced in 1987, the vintage silhouette receives a hairy suede upper and custom embossed Alltimers logo on the tongue and heel tab. Delivering on pure style and comfort, the shoe features a vulcanized outsole and textured wrap in as 70s luxury living inspired colorway.

The apparel line produced by the two brands pulls inspiration from vintage trims and cold weather staples. Unique to the adidas Skateboarding x Alltimers jacket and hoodie material is a boiled wool process that dates back to the middle ages. The collection is rounded out with a custom chino pant and heavyweight T-shirt.

The adidas Skateboarding x Alltimers footwear and apparel collection is available through the Alltimers websiteadidas Skateboarding website and specialty adidas retailers worldwide starting October 20. The Alltimers Gazelle Super retails for $100 USD and the apparel ranges from $35 USD to $200 USD.
