Astral Announces Sales Team Expansion

Robust addition of new sales reps bolsters Astral’s presence across domestic markets in all product sectors.
Published: July 22, 2025 Press Release

Astral, the industry-leading creator of high-performance footwear, equipment, and apparel for wilderness athletes, is significantly expanding its national sales representation across all categories in a strategic move to support long-term growth and deepen retail partnerships. The brand has increased its total rep headcount by 41% over the past 12 months.

This initiative reflects Astral’s ongoing commitment to being the most valued and responsive vendor to its retail partners. The company has onboarded a roster of seasoned sales reps in key territories throughout the U.S. to ensure broader reach, stronger service, and a more consistent presence across its footwear, apparel, and life jacket categories in the Outdoor, Footwear, Paddlesports, Hunt/Fish, and Marine markets.

Expanding its presence across these markets allows Astral to better serve the outdoor communities that have placed their trust in the brand for years. With localized expertise and a more immediate presence, Astral is better equipped to support its partners with tailored service, deeper product education, and regionally relevant insights—all while staying grounded in the core outdoor values that inspire its gear.

“As Astral continues to expand into the broader outdoor market, it becomes more and more crucial to invest in the strength and reach of our on-the-ground sales team,” said Christian Mason, Director of B2B Sales for Astral. “As Astral’s business has grown to serve different markets, we have seen a need for some diversification in our independent rep force so that we can leverage our reps’ unique skills to meet the varying needs of our many different retail partners.”

Astral’s expanded sales representation includes the following regional partners:

  • Northeast (CT, MA, ME, VT, NH, RI, NY, NJ, MD, PA, DE, DC): Clayton Outdoors – Steven Clayton, Danny Clayton, Stephannie VanNostrand
  • Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, AK): Two River Sales – TJ Parnell, Ashley Parnell
  • Rockies (CO, UT, NM, WY): Taproot Sales – Judd Salvas, Brek Leines
  • Southwest (CA, AZ, NV, HI): Pacific Crest Trading – Dan Miller, Tory Brydges, Marcie Vasquez; J. Digiacomo (Sierra Outdoor Collective)
  • South Central (TX, OK, LA, AR): Prime Time Outdoor – Paul Loesch, Jacob DePriest, Jason Smith, Ashley Irby
  • Rockies Paddlesports (MT, ID, CO): Mike McKee
  • West Coast Paddlesports (CA, WA, OR, NV): Dave Garringer

“We are excited to be partnering with an independently-owned brand dedicated to supporting specialty retail,” said Judd Salvas, principal, Taproot Reps (Rockies). “Our team is aligned with Astral’s strategy to protect the core while expanding the reach to new specialty retailers in the Rockies in outdoor, action, water and boutique.”

Astral’s expanded sales network comes at a pivotal time as the brand rolls out some of its most innovative footwear, PFDs and apparel to date, and expands focus on key product groups. With major growth across all categories—driven by advances in sustainability, performance, and versatility—having a knowledgeable, regionally-focused team ensures retailers are equipped to bring these new products to market with confidence.
