Luxury footwear brand, beek, known for their ‘beauty meets comfort’ collection of sandals and shoes, is set to launch their first sneaker into the market on August 28th. Two styles, the Jay and Jaeger, both made of ultra soft vegetable-tanned leather hold true the company’s foundation of cool, comfortable footwear boasting both a molded arch for support and a leather foxing for elevated style. These ‘unconstructed’ silhouettes fit on the foot more like a sock, but with the supportive sole of a shoe.
“It was time for us to launch our first sneaker. We’ve built our entire business on comfort and beauty and there is nothing more comfortable than a sneaker,” said Birgit Klett, designer and co-founder of beek. “We’re excited to expand our offering to our customer. She can expect the same arch support and ease in these new styles, but with a feminine silhouette and leather upper and foxing. It’s how beek does sneakers!”
Offered in two colors, black and saddle, each style retails for $325 (low-top) and $350 (high-top) and are available for purchase on beekshop.com and Anthropologie.
