On February 15, 2020, the iconic Byron Bay clothing brand, THRILLS will officially celebrate their expansion into the US at an exclusive launch party in Los Angeles, California.
Highly regarded in Australia for their vintage-inspired pieces and culture-defining style, the brand will be available stateside from February through selected stockists.
Tabitha McGregor, THRILLS Co-Founder and Art Director explained the expansion is a testament to the support and hard work of a huge network of team members, family, friends and die-hard fans.
“When we started THRILLS in 2011 we were importing and customising vintage motorcycles in Byron Bay with a desire to give something back to the modern-day outsider,” she said. “Since then, the brand has not only grown to be globally recognised, but it has also become a lifestyle to so many; with roots in music, artists, vintage apparel inspiration and vintage street machine culture.”
“With fellow Australian brands finding appreciation in the US market, it’s a great time to expand our reach and grow our family.”
THRILLS US General Manager, Benjamin Riches, said he’s not only proud to be a part of the brand and its originality, but also its commitment to reducing the company’s impact on the environment.
“While there’s a lot of competition in the industry these days, THRILLS thrives on its originality and progressiveness through both high-quality styles and an inspiring lifestyle,” he said.
“THRILLS has adapted and developed over the years to appeal to a global customer and with the brand’s focus on a sustainable future it really was a no-brainer to join the team and I haven’t looked back since. The team is constantly on the lookout for new and progressive fabrics such as hemp and ramie to help lessen our footprint, while also improving our day-to-day operations.”
THRILLS will be celebrating their US launch in collaboration with cult lifestyle media company, Monster Children, at their space at ‘1700 Naud’ space in Downtown LA on the 15th February 2020.
