When Manny Martinez, the Global Brand Ambassador for Champion, and the team behind Hyperfly first met 10 years ago, the master plan was to build a unique Jiu-Jitsu kimono that brought the worlds of Champion and Hyperfly together in a thoughtful process. Judging by the results of their latest collaboration, it was more than worth the wait.

The Hyperfly x Champion Gi is, indeed, a beautiful beast with its handcrafted 450gm Pearl weave cotton jacket accompanied with a gusseted 10oz twill cotton pants reinforced with knee padding. The Champion ‘C’, an iconic signature, is triple stitched on the left chest balanced with Champion branding embroidered down the full length of the right sleeve while Hyperfly’s battle insignia is embroidered on the left arm. As is with every Hyperfly kimono, their world famous “You Can’t Teach Heart.” mantra is printed on the inner left side jacket. Punctuated with the mini ‘C’ placed on the bottom left sleeve, this Gi is built for battle yet, with looks so fly, it’s sure to put streetwear in a rear naked chokehold.
Available in Bright White and Battle Navy, the Champion x Hyperfly Gi will be sold exclusively at ComplexCon Long Beach on Nov 3rd 2018. Drop is limited to 200pcs at $300 per gi.
