Last week, Boa Technology and Zeppelin Development broke ground on a 140,000-square-foot office building in Denver’s RINO (River North Arts District) neighborhood to meet the needs of Boa’s growing workforce. The new building, named FLIGHT, will reside at 3575 Ringsby Court, as a part of the mixed-use TAXI community where Boa has spent the last four years.

Boa Technology has experienced major growth since moving into the TAXI’s DRIVE building in 2012, growing from 55 employees to 143 employees in less than four years. Rooted in the outdoors, Boa is proud to be working with the Zeppelin team that is dedicated to designing the space with several environmentally conscious features. The new FLIGHT building will boast one of the city’s largest private green roofs and is targeting LEED Silver certification from the US Green Housing Council.

“Having worked with Zeppelin on our current space in the TAXI community, we know we have aligned with the right team to start into Boa’s next chapter,” says Mark Soderberg, CEO of Boa Technology. “Zeppelin not only shares similar goals and values, but they have proven they can execute a design that speaks to Boa’s creative and innovative nature, as well as support our mission to manufacture a technology that speaks to the fundamental needs of its users.”

Integrated into cycling, snowsports, outdoor, golf, athletic, utility, safety and medical products, Boa Technology enhances the user experience by improving performance, fit and function through the patented Boa closure system. Confirming Boa’s commitment to innovative design, the new space will host the Boa Fit Lab and prototyping facility that originally launched in 2015 in the current DRIVE building. The leading-edge facility is used to create fit solutions with partners, fuel product progression and ensure quality through rigorous testing.

In addition to five currently open positions, Boa is projecting the hire of more employees in the coming year to support continued expansion across multiple departments. “It’s an exciting time to be at Boa,” says Soderberg. “The new FLIGHT building will nicely accommodate our current thriving workforce and allow us to properly plan and prepare for further anticipated growth.”

Maintaining its global headquarters in Denver, Boa and its proprietary closure system has seen international success and growth with more than 300+ brand partners worldwide. Boa currently employs 201 people worldwide, with offices in the United States, Austria, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and South Korea.

About Zeppelin Development:

Zeppelin Development is recognized for more than forty years of innovation on mixed-use projects in Denver’s urban core neighborhoods. Fundamental to Zeppelin’s success is identifying underused properties in former industrial areas. This strategy began in the 1970s with catalytic projects in Lower Downtown, continued in the 80s and 90s with early-stage redevelopment of the Golden Triangle neighborhood, and is currently driving the development of Denver’s River North (RiNo) district. The father and son team of Mickey and Kyle Zeppelin are committed to promoting social change through intelligently designed projects that address unmet needs in the market and provide a catalyst to surrounding neighborhoods. As Denver natives, the Zeppelins and their team of collaborative partners have received widespread recognition for their RiNo developments, including the TAXI community and The Source market hall.
