You may remember this wiry wave wizard from his sections in the Taylor Steele-produced, “Innersection” surf-clip contests. His entries were always a highlight, with the goofyfooter hucking and spinning every which-way like a human-slinky; blessed with an aerial act that could put a tightrope walker to shame. With his innate sense of flight coupled with a complimentary rail and barrel game, this New York native has proven that he’s got the skills to pay the bills. Now, Engstrom will be donning Buell Wetsuits while he continues to push the limits with his acrobatic surfing.

ABOUT BUELL WETSUITS & SURF
Founder, Ryan Buell, envisioned a wetsuit brand, unlike the rest. When he founded Buell Wetsuits & Surf out of his garage, the plan was simple, make the best wetsuits in the world and sell them to a few select surfers. A grassroots plan to create demand. Designing prototypes in his Santa Cruz, CA garage, Ryan’s vision came to life. Soon Buell would be making custom designs for surf industry leaders including Volcom, Reef, RVCA, and Oakley. During that time he had the opportunity to work with many of the world’s top surfers such as World Champions Carissa Moore and Adriano DeSouza.
