New for Spring 2017, Dakine re-built its popular Cyclone Pack – a staple among its surf team ā to offer airtight storage and waterproof protection for any on-water mission.
Designed for surf trips by boat, the new Cyclone II Dry Pack 36L (MSRP $150) is comprised of tough CorduraĀ® fabric technology to resist tears and abrasions with waterproof welded construction and a roll-top closure to keep your gear dry. The pack features a fully airtight two-way purge valve to inflate or compress air within the bag. When compressed, the pack is more easily storable and when inflated the bag offers buoyancy for in-water transfers.
With 36 liters of capacity, the pack is roomy enough to hold a wetsuit, while also offering two external stash pockets with welded construction and water resistant PU coated zippers to store sunscreen, snacks, leashes and tools. A non-padded 15ā laptop sleeve offers protected coverage to your equipment, and a side mesh water bottle pocket provides quick access to hydration.
Breathable ergonomic shoulder straps and back panelĀ offer comfort, while an integrated board carry strapĀ allows hands-free support and distributes weight more evenly when hiking down to the water with your board bag.
The new Cyclone II Dry Pack, along with Dakineās complete collection of surf gear, will be available January 2017 at specialty retailers and online at dakine.com.
