Until recently the only way to get a Pe’ahi (aka Jaws) leash was to be gifted one on the cliffs of Haiku-Pauwela in preparation to paddle into one of the biggest waves on earth.
The world’s first and only 7/16″ (11mm) leash measuring 12’ long is comprised of the highest quality urethane Dura-Cord for maximum strength with 100% marine grade stainless steel swivels. This is combined with a 2” (50mm) triple wrap ankle cuff with Easy Clip release pin for maximum safety.
For those not looking to battle Jaws, Dakine also offers a completely redesigned range of surf leashes including its Pro Comp series (0-4’ wave size), Kainu Team series (5-8’ swells), Kainui series (6-10’ surf) and the Kainui Big Wave series (the go-to leash for 8-15’ waves).
