SUPRA, a premiere lifestyle footwear and apparel brand born from skate, will release a special-edition collection in partnership with Disney celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the iconic animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. SUPRA reimagined three of its classic sneaker silhouettes, the Skytop, the Cuba and the Stacks Vulc II in addition to exclusive apparel and skateboard decks. This Disney x SUPRA collection is the first Disney Princess collaboration targeting a male/unisex streetwear connoisseur.
This special-edition collection is made up of 11 mini-capsules, each comprised of a shoe, shirt and skateboard deck, directly inspired by 11 different recognizable elements of the film. These elements include Snow White, the Evil Queen, the Poison Apple supported by the movie’s Witch, each of the Seven Dwarfs (Dopey, Grumpy, Bashful, Happy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc) and one skate inspired graphic representing all seven of the Dwarfs. Each mini- capsule has its own color relating back to the mood and personalities of the characters, as well as icon character imagery from the film, both of which are incorporated into the design details to honor the legacy of both Walt Disney and the world’s first ever, full-length animated feature.
“We were excited to collaborate with Disney to celebrate Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs because we saw a possibility to bring something fresh and unexpected from both SUPRA and Disney Princess. Respecting the movie’s iconic status, we specifically used our icons in the best materials and considered every detail allowing the collector to discover Snow White story telling throughout the products,” said Kara Duffy, SUPRA’s Senior Director of Product. “This collaboration is our second with Disney and each time we work together we build more and more synergy. In alignment with the collection’s launch, exclusive video and photo content highlighting the collaboration will launch on SUPRA’s digital channels.
