Etnies recently collaborated with well-known LA-based tattoo artist Nathan Kostechko to design a Talent Scout shoe. Introduced to tattoos and art as a young boy in San Clemente, Nathan draws his inspiration from skateboarding, surfing and people he has met along his international travels. Tattooing has taught him to become an artist off the skin as well, and his work has since been exhibited in galleries around the world. The Scout designed by Nathan is decorated with symbols around the shoe to remind us to go out and make stories and memories. It’s not about what we have in life, but what we have done and the life experiences that leave marks and memories with us forever. These aren’t just shoes, but a friendly reminder to start each day with the mindset and inspiration to go out there and do something new and different.
